About us

FourHands Circus

FourHands Circus it is the result of a four-handed creative journey.

FourHands Circus was born in 2011 from the meeting of Claudia Ossola and Fabrizio Palazzo, two eclectic and complementary people who begin to work together forming a company of acrobatic portes, trapeze and aerial silks.

Their language is the contemporary circus and in their shows they bring to the stage current themes that touch the emotions, making their creations contemporary and not only for the style.

With their shows they travel to Europe and perform in theater exhibitions, circus and street art festivals.
Currently the duo performs their shows in European festivals, holding circus technique courses, aerial creativity workshops and accompanying their students in the creation of new performances.
The training of the duo continues through technical training in hand-to-hand and contemporary dance by expanding the training in dramaturgy, writing and choreography.

Their curiosity makes them versatile artists able to adapt with professionalism to the different realities of festivals and exhibitions.

Claudia Ossola

Claudia Ossola’s training is intense and varied, she studied at the P. A. U. T. (Performing Art University of Turin), at the FLIC circus school, obtaining the respective diplomas and graduated in architecture at the Polytechnic of Turin.
The decision to devote herself to forms of expression related to the body, led her to deepen circus techniques abroad, in Belgium and in the Netherlands at A.C.A.P.A. (Academy for Circus and performance art), expecially in static trapeze and acrobatic portes. It was during these years that she attended the first workshops around “La Poésie des Espaces”. The habit of considering space as the first “step” of her project leads her to reconsider the circus language by exploring the relationships between object-space-movement.

Since 2011 she has been involved on several fronts: as a single artist, as a teacher in aerial disciplines and as an artist in the FourHands Circus company. The training in Circus Dramaturgy (CNAC / ESAC), which took place in France and Belgium in 2017/2018, was a source of stimulus both for the “aerial creativity” workshops and for the creation of shows.
From 2021 she becomes part of the SLIP project management in Turin.

FABRIZIO PALAZZO

Fabrizio assiduously pursues the university and circus path at the same time, he graduates in multiDAMS (disciplines of Art, Music and Entertainment) at the University of Turin in 2006 and trained in the courses of the FLIC circus school, specializing in static trapeze.
Later on, he travels throughout Europe continuing training in aerial disciplines through meetings with Ezra Groeger and Roman Fedin of acrobatic portes, specializing in the hand-to-hand technique at the Central del Circ with Jordi Serra y Baleri.
Since 2011 he has been working as an artist in the company FourHands Circus.
Since 2016 he has been working as a teacher of aerial disciplines.
In 2019, he resumes his contemporary dance studies through the study of movement with Gabriel Beddoes, dancer of the company Zerogrammi, Francesca Roi and Maria Cristina Fontanelle at the association Belfioredanza in Turin.
From 2021 he joins the management team of Progetto SLIP in Turin.
Passionate about art and theater, expert in communication and marketing, he offers a precious contribution to the duo for contemporary communication (online and offline) and for aesthetic purpose.
